I was driving home from a night out with friends, and I heard a loud squeal and a truck steer to the side of the road and get on an onramp.
I then see a huge tire rolling around on the road and right into the middle lane
I drove a little bit further until I could stop and called 911 to tell them what happened (I didn't know who else to call) and then I left. I just got home. I for some reason feel like I shouldn't have left but I was like 5 minutes away from the scene, and dont feel its necessary to physically meet a cop or anything. Im also very very late.
I hope the truck driver is OK, and I hope they get rid of the tire fast, it could be a huge hazard.
I am unsure if the truck hit anything either.

By calling 911, you did more than most people would. And unless you saw a crash, I think your conscience should be clear.
